Patio is an extremely interesting space organisation system designed for use in modern open-plan offices. The slim aluminium frames can be configured according to needs and requirements and can be quickly and easily connected. The construction of the partitions on wheels makes the transformation of spatial units even easier and more convenient. The impressive nature of Patio lies not only in its functionality. The system is also an attractive and modern solution with differentiating aesthetic appeal thanks to the interesting use of lines that vary in thickness, along with a dynamic and pleasantly sleek design.
PATIO | THE OFFICE OASIS IN OPEN-PLAN OFFICES
Patio is a space-organising system for open-plan offices designed by Robert Bronwasser for Cascando. Successfully introduced at the Orgatec 2022 in Cologne, the system is developed to increase the productivity, connectivity and well-being of individuals and teams. Mobile, agile and very practical.
The open-plan office’ is a social, flexible, and transparent form of spatial planning that allows for collaboration and interaction. Furnishing open office spaces however also creates challenges. Patio allows you to retain the original office landscape while resolving the disadvantages of open space working environments.

ENJOY SPACE WITHIN SPACE
‘I have been toying with the idea to bring the possibilities of acoustic wall panels to open spaces for years, without partitioning them. I wanted to develop a subtle, minimal structure that would maximise the planning flexibility of interiors and functions.
During my explorations I got the inspiration from a picture frame, allowing me to easily fit and change content. From the fundaments of this basic frame, I continued to develop the product into Patio: a space within space.
By integrating the various walls, styles, and fabrics, Patio becomes a playful space-organising system that allows you to create a hybrid, functional semi-open office everywhere. That versatility is really something I was looking for. Design should not only be pleasant to look at, but also invite you to use it. Patio does just that.’
CREATING CONNECTION
The open nature of Patio is a conceptual plus in organising space. The various design elements allow you to adapt, refresh or move space, and keep space personal. Brought together, the mobile space-organising panels create connection and strengthen team spirit. PERSONAL WORKSPACE SOLUTIONS
The contemporary design of the Patio series is created by combining slim, subtly designed aluminum frames, using fixed corners or hinges. The unique connective system of Patio allows you to clip two or three frames together, and thus create the workspace atmosphere you need. Whatever the use of space you have in mind, Patio will blend right in.

Patio allows you to change space from closed to semi-open or open in an instant.
